			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://claritywithlaurenlarsen.com/wp-content/uploads/empowerment.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-51 alignright" style="border: 1px solid black; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;" title="empowerment" src="http://claritywithlaurenlarsen.com/wp-content/uploads/empowerment-300x199.jpg" alt="Empowerment" width="300" height="199" /></a>Prosperity is not necessarily a dollar amount.  It’s a conscious state of mind where you have a sense of happiness, confidence, contentment, peace, joy and freedom from the fear of lack within.  You may only have a few dollars and consider yourself prosperous.  Or, you might have over a million dollars and feel broke. True prosperity isn’t just about your finances.  It’s about being balanced in abundance having prosperous love, health, happiness and finances in your life.</p>
<p>Create a mental attitude that attracts prosperity by feeling wealthy in your mind. When you start feeling wealthy in all facets of life, your mind will accept more completely the reality that life has much to offer you and you deserve to have it all.</p>
<p>So, what is the most helpful mental mindset for attracting prosperity?  It is a conscious attitude of consistent positive expectancy.  It’s also a state of mind constantly open to new ideas, inspirations and intuition.</p>
<p>When I was in a high-level, six-figure executive position, I started paying attention to my mindset.  I noticed when I maintained an open, expectant, ready to receive mindset, what I put out returned to me in the form of even greater financial prosperity.</p>
<p>Certain core values help me truly feel prosperous.  Expanding beyond an attitude of positive expectancy, I also noticed I embrace the ability to see the best in others.  I’ve always been trustworthy and honest..    I often meet clients who have an attitude of positive expectancy on the surface.  But scratch that surface just a little and a great deal of fear, disappointment and negativity is revealed on the inside.  Does that describe you?</p>
<p>When you use conscious clarity and live in alignment with your true purpose – you can walk in your passion and truth.  Other people will notice your authenticity and be drawn to it.  As they’re attracted to who you are at depth, they’ll want to work with you creating financial prosperity.   Many people aren’t aware the word “wealth” comes from an ancient Welsh word, “weal” which comes from the old water wheels for milling grain.  It truly means to be in the flow.</p>
<p>I left my executive position to start my own business and now I feel even more abundant and prosperous because I’m excited about being of service to my clients.  I am living my authentic truth and prosperity is always around me.</p>
<p>Prosperity is also a state of soul.  When you meditate, you become filled with the presence of your higher mind.  This connection reinforces your mental mindset of positive expectancy.  Meditation will help you come to know your higher mind within.  You’ll produce a consistent positive attitude deep within, key to helping you achieve real prosperity.</p>
<p>Here are my steps to developing a mindset that attracts prosperity to you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Connect daily with your higher mind through meditation.</li>
<li>Steer clear of people who speak about hard times.  Do your best to change the topic of conversation.</li>
<li>Associate only with people who maintain a positive attitude about prosperity and money.</li>
<li>Truly spiritual people believe having money is okay.  Affirm you live in a loving Universe that provides for all your needs.</li>
<li>Frequent affluent places in your city.  Permeate your entire being with strong prosperity vibrations.</li>
<li>Shop at the finest, most elegant stores. Try on expensive clothing even though you may not have the money.  Get used to elegance and opulence as a good thing.</li>
<li>Don’t accept negative thoughts that reinforce lack or poverty in any way.</li>
<li>When you pray don’t ask for money or cash flow.  Make your prayer an affirmation that your higher mind knows you have a need which must be fulfilled.</li>
<li>Keep all channels open as to how prosperity may come to you. If you need something, it may not come by way of buying it with cash.  It’s possible for it to be bartered, traded, , or, even given to you.</li>
<li>Keep active. Don’t sit waiting for your “good” to materialize.  Activity helps you stand a better chance to be in the flow of receiving when the time is right.</li>
<li>Program your mind with prosperity affirmations. Build a strong foundation of belief in your own prosperity and your ability to attract more.</li>
<li>When going through your bills, maintain an attitude of your higher mind working through you in infinite ways to take care of each payment.</li>
</ul>
<p>It may take time to add each step into your life.  Or, you might make the shift in an instant.  As you shift, you’ll feel your prosperity level increasing inside.  When that happens you’ll become a powerful magnet manifesting real prosperity and abundance in all facets of your life.</p>

The ability to relax the body has many benefits such as strengthening your meditation practices, releasing constant thoughts, improving sleep patterns, reducing stress and negative emotions.  The techniques below will assist you in practicing how to become deeply relaxed.</p>
<ul>
<li>Create a sacred space:  Find a place in your home that is exclusively your space. Make it a peaceful, meditative space where you can have privacy. Furnish it with whatever will help you feel focused and relaxed such as candles, music, incense and pillow.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Bathing: a hot bath will quickly relax you and promote good blood circulation. Make sure you will not be disturbed. Using Epson salts and or essential oils such as lavender, chamomile, or sage is a great way to enhance relaxation.  Imagine all your discomfort and stress being washed away and going down the drain.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Use progressive relaxation: In your sacred space, begin to tense and relax your whole body, starting with your feet and then move up the body through all your muscle groups. Start with a deep breath in, let it out. Hold each tense for the count of three, and then relax. Do this in sets of three moving next to the calf, thighs, stomach, hands, arms, neck and shoulders. Lastly, face, neck and eyes.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>The Breath Technique: Close your eyes and concentrate on breathing in through your nose and out your mouth.  Feel the air coming in your nostrils and feel the air against your lips going out. Listen to the sound and the rhythm. Inhale slowly and deeply, pause a moment, then exhale slowly and completely, allowing your stomach to rise and fall as you breathe.  In a few minutes you will feel more calm, comfortable and relaxed.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>One Spot Technique: Pick a spot in front of you and keep looking at it as you blink your eyes twelve times. Afterward, close your eyelids, they will feel relaxed and tired. This relaxed sensation will spread through to the rest of your body in pleasant waves.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Mental Pictures of Relaxation: This technique is easy. Remember back to a time in your life when you felt safe, secure, calm, and relaxed. Holding the scene or object in your mind, using all your senses, that is, what it looked like, what it sounded like, what it felt like, or smelled like, will automatically relax the body. It’s called a conditioned response. You can use anything you have experienced, read, or seen in a movie.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Simple Breath Relaxation: Breathe easily and naturally and repeat over and over a word of your choice at the exhalation. The word “Om” has found great success because it has no distracting connotations. Other words commonly used are one, relax, peace, love and or light. This practice focuses the mind and protects it from unwanted distractions. If you have any distracting thoughts, visualize them as bubbles on a stream of fast-moving clouds drifting by from your left to your right and out of sight, returning to your chosen word.</li>
</ul>
<p>Once you get yourself to this “alpha” relaxed state, continue with your favorite visualization or meditation. One of my favorite visualization exercises I use often for manifesting prosperity is to create and view a movie of myself already having and enjoying what I wish for in my life. Be, do, think, act, feel, dress, walk, talk and move as if it has already happened.  Begin with a 15 minute relaxation routine. After a few times, your body will have the memory of what it’s like to be relaxed. This will allow you to move into a 5 minute relaxation routine followed by your meditation practice. I also recommend one of the above techniques as a great antidote for insomnia. Try it in bed and then drift off to sleep.</p>
