There are 12 archetypes at work for every individual. Within these 12, there are 4 that are necessary to our survival that we all share:

The Child, the Prostitute, the Saboteur, and the Victim.

Understanding how these influences work to shape our attitudes and behaviors provides valuable insight into why we act as we do. The Victim as it relates to this New Moon will offer the opportunity to tap into and understand our personal power and how it creates positive outcomes in us and our relationships, both personally and professionally.

The Victim, the guardian of self-esteem, archetype may manifest the first time you don’t get what you want or need, where abused by a parent, playmate, sibling or teacher and/or are accused of or punished for something you didn’t do.

The first thing to do in any situation where you feel like a victim is to be honest about your feelings. By expressing and acknowledging feeling of sadness, anger, anxiety or joy you empower yourself. By understanding the circumstances in life that have caused negative emotions and taking responsibility for them, we grow. Until we accept this responsibility, we cannot take back our power we have given away by passing blame. It doesn’t matter who is right or wrong. What matters is we see our own accountability and in that we can reclaim our power and move past the Victim.

The bottom line “core issue” of the Victim is whether it’s worth giving up your own sense of empowerment to avoid taking responsibility for your independence.

Grounding is key to working through the Victim archetype.

Below you will find a few ways in which being grounded can make a difference in our everyday lives:

• Brings the physical body into harmony and balance
• Allows the body to heal more quickly and deeply
• Can improve physical body health and vitality
• Helps to release (or ground) emotional energies
• Provides an outlet for the release of stored energy from the physical body
• Increases balance and stability in our physical and emotional states
• Helps to create a bridge between Spirit and the physical
• Increases power, awareness and the ability to be present

Visualization Grounding Technique

Sit comfortably with your spine as straight as possible. Keep your hands and feet apart with the feet flat on the floor.

Close your eyes (this helps you to focus inside)

Take three deep breaths through the nose, inhaling and exhaling deeply and completely through the belly. While you breathe through the nose, place your tongue resting lightly on the roof of your mouth. This helps encourage the flow of energy through your system.

If you are sitting on the floor, visualize yourself sending tree roots down into the Earth from the base of your spine. If you are sitting in a chair, visualize yourself sending tree roots down into the Earth from the bottom of your feet. Imagine that this tremendous root system is traveling as deeply into the Earth as possible and is fully anchoring you to the Earth. As the roots travel swiftly down into the Earth’s core, visualize yourself drawing up rich, dark Earth energy that spirals upward and throughout your body.

Now, as you breathe, imagine the Earth energy slowly traveling up your legs, your spine, body and into your brain.  This will take about 5 minutes as you move the energy up and through your body.

Many Angels, Principalities and Ascended Masters were present to assist in releasing all issues. I was in awe of their beauty and unconditional love as they attended to each and everyone present by cleaning, clearing, and opening your heart centers instilling forgiveness. They really know how to work a room!! The Reiki energy assisted in breaking through stagnant blockages and then shifted into balancing your chakra’s (energy) centers. Please consider a salt mineral bath, smudge (burn sage) and resting your body by going to bed early for the next 2 weeks.

Please do not dwell on.. or loop back into any of your concerns or past issues from your list. This releasing process, depending on your circumstances, may take up to a month or two. You may even feel exhausted or just tired. This is normal and actually a very good symptom! This means by attending this event you have reclaimed your power to find new solutions to clear out your past and stop repeating old patterns. You’re opening your life to the new and promising road ahead.

If you find yourself looping back, focus on the intellectual Aquarian energy by responding instead of reacting. This full moon promises the energy to assist you analytically instead of emotionally. Focus on setting a new vision or goal for yourself.

It is common to confuse your emotions with the soul, as though they were the same. Your spirit is the one perfect, unchangeable part of you. Your feelings, on the other hand fluctuate constantly.

Your soul is like pure water contained in a glass. You can mix many things into the water, but it always remains water.

When people speak of a good soul or a bad one, they usually base this judgment on a person’s emotional expression rather than on the soul. A good soul generally refers to someone who exhibits a bright, positive personality.

By contrast, hardened criminals might be called bad souls, because they succumb to their darkest impulses. Yet, neither kind of person has an unhealthy soul. Someone may have an unhealthy mind but that does not affect the condition of the soul. Even the most unpleasant, anti-social person possesses a brilliant and beautiful spirit.

For this reason, I recommend letting your soul rather than your emotions be the controlling element in your life.

Through spiritual guidance, healing, meditation and breathing, you can rid yourself of these emotions. If you can peel away the layers, you can ask yourself what makes you truly, not temporarily, happy.
