Humility is not low self-esteem. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. With humility, our self-esteem is not attached to our personal traits, physical appearance, wealth, shortcomings, assets or our past. Instead it is attached to the design of our creator who created us with a purpose giving us the power to fulfill that purpose.

True humility is being secure within you with no need to put yourself forward, to take credit, or to ‘blow own horn’. You see yourself as a part of the larger, bigger picture and that every person in that picture has an equally important role. No matter what you may think you may know, we show our true selves, our level of spiritual development by our reaction to the bad things that happen to us.  Why is this happening? Why now? Why me?

We forget that this is happening because we made it happen or this is happening because it is a part of life and perhaps this happens to everyone at some point.  And of course, we forget the most important… this is happening for a “reason” so we can learn the lessons necessary for our soul’s growth, to improve our lives and move on to the next level of growth. Tips on Living in Humility

• Be grateful for your assets. In humility, we recognize the great qualities and assets that we have, but we don’t boast about them. Instead, we are grateful for them as gifts we have been given. Write a list about all the things you like about yourself and those things others like about you. Do you have intelligence, motivation, charm or some other great qualities? Express gratitude for those qualities and you will find humility.
• Be grateful for your challenges and shortcomings. If you struggle with feeling that you are less motivated, less attractive or less intelligent than others, be grateful for the perspective and learning experience that apparent shortcoming offers you. Life is about growth and change. Every challenge we face builds our character and our assets. When we express gratitude for the challenges we face, those challenges lose their power over our perception of ourselves and become building blocks we can grow on.
• Do not compare yourself with others. Human Beings are the most diverse and variable creatures on the planet. Comparing one person to another is like comparing apples to oranges. It is this uniqueness that allows us to learn and grow from one another. You were created like no one else in the universe. You were created with a purpose that is shared with no one else.
• Be teachable. The key to wisdom is to be teachable, to realize that you do not know everything, that many things you believe to be true may be false, and that you have much to learn from others.
• Practice random kindness. When you practice kindness, you transcend the high-anxiety world of selfishness and experiencing the fulfilling sense of oneness with others. When you practice kindness discreetly, you share the vision of your kindness without the distractions of pride and self-importance which may result from sharing your kindness publicly.
• Lighten your expectations. No matter how good you are at making plans or predicting outcomes, no matter how strong your belief is that something should be a certain way, life will often produce results you did not expect or did not want. When we hold tight to expectations, we become easily frustrated, disappointed, angry and humiliated. When we take ourselves and our expectations less seriously, we can more easily handle what life hands us.

Only when we realize and accept that we are responsible for creating our own karma, can we choose to change it by making better choices this time around. This is the essential meaning of the old adage: “What goes around, comes around.” We can get off the “wheel of karma” by making better choices when similar situations come up. 

The Full Moon in Aries on October 22, 2010, offers for the second month in a row, the opportunity to work on your current relationships. Specifically addressing “What do I need?” This is a wonderful opportunity to break old karmic patterns and clear the past by addressing what you feel you are getting or not getting. This would be the time to speak up for yourself and begin the process of transformation.

What is Relationship Karma

Relationship karma operates in all our relationships and starts in each life with childhood family interactions. Relationships are where we learn fundamental lessons in life through contact with karmic connections and soulmates. Karmic connections or soul groups are people we feel instantly familiar with. We have a sense of connection stemming from a previous life or lives either in a positive or negative setting.

 Soulmates are two people who are extremely compatible on most levels. The connection is usually extensive, spanning several lives and for the most part positive. We can have several soulmates, and they can be in incarnation with us or acting as guides for our present life, helping us and encouraging us from the other side. Our soulmates have generally shared many experiences with us and know us well. All these contacts and relationships are usually intensely emotional, and some of them can conjure up strong feelings either positive or negative, all for a purpose.

These experiences and connections happen to provide opportunities to develop the qualities and characteristics we are most in need of. Power issues are particularly common in relationship karma. People get drawn into dependent relationships where one person holds all the power, and tension often arises when it is time for the other person to take back his or her power.

The spiritual purpose of partnership is to develop wholeness within us, to create freedom and take back or release our power over someone. We are a combination of male and female energies and our challenge is to harmonize the male and female within in each lifetime. This is the key to true balance and spirituality. We each learn our lessons differently because we are each at our own level of growth. So much of relationships is sorting out chaos and emotions and learning to love ourselves. On a higher level, every problem is self-caused and therefore must be self-redeemed. We must awaken from our complacency. In doing this, we begin to see the spiritual behind the physical and our lives open to new awareness.

Many Angels, Principalities and Ascended Masters were present to assist in releasing all issues. I was in awe of their beauty and unconditional love as they attended to each and everyone present by cleaning, clearing, and opening your heart centers instilling forgiveness. They really know how to work a room!! The Reiki energy assisted in breaking through stagnant blockages and then shifted into balancing your chakra’s (energy) centers. Please consider a salt mineral bath, smudge (burn sage) and resting your body by going to bed early for the next 2 weeks.

Please do not dwell on.. or loop back into any of your concerns or past issues from your list. This releasing process, depending on your circumstances, may take up to a month or two. You may even feel exhausted or just tired. This is normal and actually a very good symptom! This means by attending this event you have reclaimed your power to find new solutions to clear out your past and stop repeating old patterns. You’re opening your life to the new and promising road ahead.

Create a mental attitude that attracts prosperity by feeling wealthy in your mind. When you start feeling wealthy in all facets of life, your mind will accept more completely the reality that life has much to offer you and you deserve to have it all.

So, what is the most helpful mental mindset for attracting prosperity?  It is a conscious attitude of consistent positive expectancy.  It’s also a state of mind constantly open to new ideas, inspirations and intuition.

When I was in a high-level, six-figure executive position, I started paying attention to my mindset.  I noticed when I maintained an open, expectant, ready to receive mindset, what I put out returned to me in the form of even greater financial prosperity.

Certain core values help me truly feel prosperous.  Expanding beyond an attitude of positive expectancy, I also noticed I embrace the ability to see the best in others.  I’ve always been trustworthy and honest..    I often meet clients who have an attitude of positive expectancy on the surface.  But scratch that surface just a little and a great deal of fear, disappointment and negativity is revealed on the inside.  Does that describe you?

When you use conscious clarity and live in alignment with your true purpose – you can walk in your passion and truth.  Other people will notice your authenticity and be drawn to it.  As they’re attracted to who you are at depth, they’ll want to work with you creating financial prosperity.   Many people aren’t aware the word “wealth” comes from an ancient Welsh word, “weal” which comes from the old water wheels for milling grain.  It truly means to be in the flow.

Prosperity is also a state of soul.  When you meditate, you become filled with the presence of your higher mind.  This connection reinforces your mental mindset of positive expectancy.  Meditation will help you come to know your higher mind within.  You’ll produce a consistent positive attitude deep within, key to helping you achieve real prosperity.

Here are my steps to developing a mindset that attracts prosperity to you:

• Connect daily with your higher mind through meditation.
• Steer clear of people who speak about hard times.  Do your best to change the topic of conversation.
• Associate only with people who maintain a positive attitude about prosperity and money.
• Truly spiritual people believe having money is okay.  Affirm you live in a loving Universe that provides for all your needs.
• Frequent affluent places in your city.  Permeate your entire being with strong prosperity vibrations.
• Shop at the finest, most elegant stores. Try on expensive clothing even though you may not have the money.  Get used to elegance and opulence as a good thing.
• Don’t accept negative thoughts that reinforce lack or poverty in any way.
• When you pray don’t ask for money or cash flow.  Make your prayer an affirmation that your higher mind knows you have a need which must be fulfilled.
• Keep all channels open as to how prosperity may come to you. If you need something, it may not come by way of buying it with cash.  It’s possible for it to be bartered, traded, , or, even given to you.
• Keep active. Don’t sit waiting for your “good” to materialize.  Activity helps you stand a better chance to be in the flow of receiving when the time is right.
• Program your mind with prosperity affirmations. Build a strong foundation of belief in your own prosperity and your ability to attract more.
• When going through your bills, maintain an attitude of your higher mind working through you in infinite ways to take care of each payment.

It may take time to add each step into your life.  Or, you might make the shift in an instant.  As you shift, you’ll feel your prosperity level increasing inside.  When that happens you’ll become a powerful magnet manifesting real prosperity and abundance in all facets of your life.
